THE MOTOR RANGE

From high-RPM agile outrunners to continuous-duty heavy-payload agricultural drives, engineered and manufactured in Edmonton, Alberta.

Micro & Compact

Micro & Compact Motors

Small-diameter outrunners for FPV, inspection, indoor, and light survey platforms. Built for fast throttle response and high power density, with balanced rotors and quality bearings that hold up to real flight hours instead of bench demos.

Typical Applications:
FPV & RacingCinema QuadsIndoor InspectionLight Mapping
Mid-Payload

Mid-Size Motors

Motors for survey, mapping, delivery, security and industrial multirotor platforms in the mid-payload range. Optimized for efficiency and endurance — the flight-time band where propulsion losses decide whether a mission fits in one battery.

Typical Applications:
Survey & MappingDeliveryISRCargo Multirotors
Fixed-Wing & VTOL

Fixed-Wing & VTOL Propulsion

Pusher, tractor and lift-motor configurations for fixed-wing and hybrid VTOL aircraft, including transition-optimized lift/cruise sets where hover motors and cruise propulsion are engineered and specified as a single, harmonious system.

ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING

Every motor program is backed by instrumented thrust-stand testing, certified material verification, and precision CNC fabrication engineered to scale from prototype to volume production.

01

Designed & Tested In-House

Every motor program is backed by thrust-stand testing with instrumented, calibrated load cells. Operating parameters — Thrust, Current, RPM, and Temperature — are captured across the full flight envelope rather than single isolated peak points.

02

Materials Verified, Not Assumed

Magnet batches are audited against certification data, ensuring intrinsic coercivity margins at elevated operating temperatures. Silicon steel grades and heat treatment are verified with metallurgical suppliers before production.

03

Precision Machining

Multi-axis CNC turning and mill-turn operations on rotor bells, stator hubs, shafts, and crowns. The machining strategy scales smoothly from initial prototyping to near-net-shape volume manufacturing without redesigning the component.

04

Finishing Built for the Field

Rotor and housing surface finishes are selected specifically for environmental durability: resisting aggressive agricultural chemical exposure, thermal shock, and corrosive humidity over thousands of operating hours.

WHO WE BUILD FOR

Purpose-engineered propulsion solutions matched to operational profiles, duty cycles, and airframe demands.

Drone OEMs & Integrators

Propulsion units matched directly to your airframe dynamics, delivered with verified thrust, current, and thermal envelope data your engineering team can actually design against.

  • Direct CAD integration files (.STEP)
  • Matched motor, ESC, and prop curves
  • Predictable lead times & scalable production
High Demand Market

Agricultural Operators

Motors engineered specifically for the brutal duty cycle agricultural spraying and spreading actually imposes:

  • Heavy Payload: Sustained peak torque under max fluid weight
  • Repeated Cycles: Rapid battery swaps without thermal burnout
  • Chemical Exposure: Sealed bearing cavities and treated windings
  • Long Operating Days: Reliable uptime across critical spray windows

Industrial & Commercial Fleets

Inspection, survey, delivery, and security platforms where repeatable flight endurance, interchangeable spares, and zero downtime matter far more than headline bench claims.

  • High MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
  • Batch-to-batch consistent electrical parameters
  • Comprehensive maintenance & spare component availability

R&D

Custom BLDC motor, ESC, and propeller design and rapid manufacturing. Tailored stator winding topologies, custom KV configurations, and hybrid VTOL lift/cruise optimization.

  • Rapid prototyping in Edmonton facility
  • Custom thermal & aerodynamic simulation

WHY FORKLS

Five principles that set our Canadian propulsion systems apart from commercial catalog resellers.

01

One Supplier, Every Class

From micro UAVs to heavy-lift agricultural drones from a single engineering team — maintaining consistent quality, testing standards, and parts control across a mixed fleet.

02

Systems, Not Components

Motor, ESC, and propeller are engineered and validated together on calibrated thrust stands to eliminate resonance, optimize switching frequency, and maximize total system efficiency.

03

Canadian Manufacturing

Engineering and production based in Edmonton, Alberta. Direct, unmediated access to the propulsion engineers who actually designed and machined your motor.

04

Real Test Data

Full-envelope thrust, current, RPM, and thermal curves captured from calibrated load cells on our Edmonton test stands, delivered alongside every product specification sheet.

05

Built to Be Built Again

Designed with manufacturing tolerances and repeatable volume production in mind from the first CAD sketch, ensuring prototype performance matches full-scale production batches.
